Hi there,

I'm currently configuring a small webshop and stumbled upon this demand:

We're selling brochures in several different languages and we want to offer them as a part of a product bundle.
I managed to add an attribute for each language. When purchasing single brochures this works like a charm!
My issue concerns a bundle of let's say 50 brochures. Can I offer the customer an easy way of splitting these 50 brochures into 10 german, 10 english and 30 french?

Best regards,
Mirco

This is a very specific question and can be fixed on many ways. First I must say Multishop does't support product packages yet.

What you could do is create 3 products (german, french, english brochure) and savethem in one category.

After that customize the products listing so every product in the list is also showing a inputfield.

When the customer does the post of the form (submit) then iterate the products and add them to the cart by the updateCart method, ie:

foreach ($post['products'] as $product)
{
$post=array();
$post['products_id']=$product['products_id'];
$post['quantity']=number_format($product['qty']);
if (is_array($product['attributes']) and count($product['attributes']))
{
foreach ($product['attributes'] as $attribute)
{
if ($attribute['products_options_values_id']) $value=$attribute['products_options_values_id'];
else $value=$attribute['products_options_values'];
$post['attributes'][$attribute['products_options_id']][]=$value;
}
}
mslib_fe::updateCart();
}
