I keep getting 'Fatal error: Out of memory' errors when i try to update TYPO3 Multishop to a newer version. I have this on both my sites that use multishop.

One site is TYPO3 4.5.10 with multishop 2.0.24 and the other site is TYPO3 4.6.8 with multishop 2.0.28. Both are on the same server.

I already have set the memory_limit in php.ino to a couple of hundred mb's, but i still get the same error on site one:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 4902092icon_cool.gif (tried to allocate 27974280 bytes) in /home/******/public_html/typo3/sysext/em/classes/connection/class.tx_em_connection_ter.php on line 188

and on site two:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 17513581 bytes) in /home/***/public_html/typo3/sysext/em/classes/connection/class.tx_em_connection_ter.php on line 224

Other extensions have no problem. Any idea what this may cause and how to fix it?

Thans for your help.

Sorry... I´ve got also no idea whats the problem is.
But have you tried to import the actual t3ms manually and not over the TER? Maybe this could be a turn around???

With kind regards
Wolfgang

I fixed the issue with Wolfgang. After his hosting provider updated the memory limit to about 100MB he was able to install Multishop succesfully.

We go to change our documentation, so this is not a problem anymore.

Hi Bas,

Unfortunately my problem isn't solved. I have increased the memory limit to 1024 mb and still the same error. I'm looking for a solution for days now but i can't fix it. I have update php, checked the setting in php.ini 10 times, nothing helps. It just won't let me update multishop.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks.

Joost
