Hi all,

I tried to use the Multishop. All I get is the sentence "No products available.". I logged in as admin, I see the Admin panel an can create Categories... But can't see them! In the backend on the left side on "Multishop" I can see that there are categories. I tried a lot I found in this Forum:

- include "admin.css" and "admin_frontend.css" manually
- Moved the constants for admin_usergroup etc. to the core-shop-page.
- changed the order of the includes
- delete core page and root page and setup new...

nothing helps...

I use:

TYPO3 4.7.4
Multishop 2.0.38
ColorBox 1.5.4

Thanks for your help!

Chris

Hi Chris,

question, did you move the "core shop" in the backend of typo3?
maybe on purpose?

did you create categories like: (Products and categories seperated)

parent categorie
- child categorie in parent categorie
# Product 1
# Product 2
- second child categorie in parent categorie

second parent categorie

or did you do it like that? (products and categories mixed up)

parent categorie
- child categorie in parent categorie
- Product 1
- Product 2
- second child categorie in parent categorie
# Product 3
# Product 4

second parent categorie

so long...

Hi SWAG,

I think I didn't move it.

I just tried to create some categories... But there isn't any. I can't create a Product or Sub-categories, because there isn't any parent-category... Thats the whole problem.

thanks
Chris

Well...
you said "- delete core page and root page and setup new..."

once i accidently moved the coreshop on another page. after that the uid wasnt the same anymore. all the tools (just like categories etc.) searched for the old uid but couldnt find it.
so i had no hot product, latest products, category listing [...] anymore.

but the coreshop worked all the time, thats why its a bit weird...

did you already edit the admin_edit_category.php file? (maybe it was admin_category_edit.php)

and try to subscribe your progress while trying to create a category.
maybe you just miss one simple point (often happened to me, like "visibility no"icon_wink.gif

Hi SWAG,

well..

I moved the coreshop after trying to add categories with the original installation. I use the right UID, visibility of categories is switched on.
I think I did not edit the admin_edit_category.php. Should I do this?

I log in as fe_user, In the shop-overlay I click on category -> create new category. And I can't see anything.

do me a favor,
first:
go to the backend, on left side -> templates, "shopname" on upper side in middle toolbar, then on home, constants (above setup).

copy the text and paste it here.

second:
in the middle toolbar (where all of your pages are shown).. hold your cursor on the name of page in which your coreshop is right now. (e.g. you have the page "Chris onlineshop" and the coreshop is right on that page, hold the cursor on it, dont click)
the id will appear, just write it down here, too.

do this also with the id of your categories listing / categories overview (if you have craeted a separate page)

i gonna take a look at it then icon_smile.gif

so long...
