Hi,

I'd like to import products from a csv file. In the documentation there is no sample file, so I don't know the format or the required fields. When I write a simple import csv file with only one column (product name), nothing is imported into my database. Could someone give me a hint?

I'd also like to import a whole category tree with a product import. Is this possible or is there a workaround for that?

thanks in advance

Just start with Excel '97 format, then you don't need to define any properties.

When you upload the file you will see your Excel horizontal columns in a vertical lay-out. Next you need to do is map each cell to multishop (i.e. cell A = products name, cell B = main cat, cell C = products price).

We will make some movies soon to explain it more clearly.
