Hi, me again,

i don't seem to find an extensive documentation on all the features of this extension. Is there anywhere one?

I am confused about some things:

1: In the TYPO3 backend, Multishop Modul, under "Welcome..." it says:
"At this moment there are no Multishops deployed within this TYPO3 installation. "

This is strange, because I have 2 categories, seceral products and payment methods defined; also the shop has a name... for me that means that there is a shop up and running. What exactely does this sentence refer to?

2: Currently the VAT is read from the static_info_taxes. There is only 1 VAT per country it seems. What if there are more VATs needed? like selling a book has a VAT of 7, but other things like shipping has 19? Is it possible to fill the drop down box with more values than just 0 and the country specific VAT?

3. The CMS section ofers several pages, but I have no idea where they will show up. Is there a documentation about that topic somewhere?

I would like to help extending the documentation, but first I need to understand some things, so hope to find answers here.

Thanks you!

We are planning to update the documentation very soon. In the mean time the TYPO3 Multishop forum is "your best guide".

You could follow the steps that I did to configure Multishop on the Introduction package on YouTube

I think you have defined the Multishop Core Page field in your core shop content element. Make sure you leave this field empty on the core shop page.

You only need to define this field if the TYPO3 page where you add the content element onto doesn't really contain the shop catalog itself, but instead it links to another TYPO3 page that contains the real shop.

This can be very usefull if you have two sites. For example:

Site 1: http://www.debaronshop.nl
This site contains the core shop and the catalog.

Site 2: http://www.biosnet.nl
This site contains no real products, but it has a content element Multishop with the Multishop Core Page reflecting to the core shop page of site one.

The result of this setup is that site two displays products of site one and the products link to site 1. (no duplicate content).

The static_taxes extension doesn't provide all VAT rates. You need to add them manually to the database. I have explained this before on this topic:

Thanks, Bas, for your answers. Can you please point me to a place, where the function "CMS" is explained? I just have no idea, where those menues should show up, how I can manipulate there layout, whether they are multilevel etc.

Regards,
Robert
