Several Problems with Database, creating Products and Categories

Hi Folks!

Im just tying to get MultiShop working to see if it's a good alternative to tt_products. I'm facing the following problems:

1.) Installation via TER is OK, but If I look at the Database Tab at the (new) Extension-Manager, it tells me, that there has to bee added a KEY (lat, lng) in tx_multishop_stores and that there are several fields that have to be updated in fe_users, tx_multishop_cupons etc. Usuallay these changes are performed if I click on the button - but I see the same fields again - as if nothing has been changed. The same thing is with three static tables that have to be imported.

2.) If I try to add a product or a category in the Front-End Admin-Panel, everything is fine until I press the save Button - the input-window remains black with a "close" and "move" button in the top right, but nothing else happens. If I click outside the box, the black window disappears, but no pruduct / category has been created.

I'm using Typo3 4.5.6 and Multishop 1.0.37 (First try was 1.0.35, same problems). Also no difference wether using firefox or IE.

So what do I need to do to get multishop working?

Thank you for your help!

Uli

We have fixed this issue today and will be published to TER tonight.

More information can be found here

Hi Base!

Thank you for your help. Topic 1.) is solved with this update, but Topic 2.) is still the same. I can't add a single product as described above.
Any Idea what could be wrong?

I've tested multishop on 4.5.5 and 4.5.7. It works for me. Maybe you have a javascript problem? Du you use realurl? If yes turn it off für debuging.

Which jQuery Version do you use?

Hi jousch!

I switched off RealURL, no effect. But I think I could narrow the problem:

1.) When I save a Product with at least one Picture, the black box remains open, no picture saved. No difference if it is a new product or if I try to add a picture to an existing product.

2.) When I add a new product and let the default "main category" instead of choosing an other category no product is added (but the "Black box" disapears, no error message).

Any Idea?

So all should be fine with multishop tables? Okay...

Do you get any javascript errors in error console of (e.g. Web Developer Toolbar for firefox) while testing?

Accessing the Shop-Page in FE I get:

jQuery("#siteSearchInput"icon_wink.gif[0] is undefined
[Bei diesem Fehler anhalten] defaultSearchValue = jQuery('#siteSearchInput')[0].value;

But this comes from a search-field I can't switch off right now ...

That meens that you get no errors if you click around the affected stuff, which won't work as expected?

Hmmm...
