Is it possible to show one category on a different page than the main shop page.

I have one page where different brands of rims are available (each brand is a category).

I also have created a category where i want to show cars that are for sail. But i don't want them in the category list and on the main shop page. I want it on a different page.

Any idea if this is possible and how?

Thans.

Certainly.

When you add the core shop on a seperate page change the categories startingpoint to the categories id that you want to show. Make sure you also define "Show Catalog from Page", this should link to your core shop PID.

Maybe you defined the following constant on the root TYPO3 template?

plugin.multishop.catalog_shop_pid

Remove it from the root template or overwrite it by adding it to the seperated page (extension template):

plugin.multishop.catalog_shop_pid=xxx where xxx is your seperated page id.

Hmm, it seems i cant get this to work. It still displays all the categories instead of the products of one categorie.

The only thing that is fixed now is that if i click on a categorie the pid isn't changed to the core shop id but it stays on the page where i want the products to be displayed.

Thanks again for your help.

Explained Joost to create 2 multishops:

root
----| Shop1 (pid 100)
----| Shop2 (pid 101)

Content elements:
Create a Multishop content element on Shop1 and Shop2. Configure them to:

Choose section Core shop
Leave the rest of the settings to the default.

TYPO3 Template constants settings:
On the root page define all the Multishop constants.

On Shop1 only define:
plugin.multishop.shop_pid = 100

On Shop2 only define:
plugin.multishop.shop_pid = 101

This way you can create multiple shops in seconds.

Ps make sure the core shop content elements Multishop Core Page fields are empty, cause this is controlled by the TYPO3 template constants.
