You have to work with hook to create custom database query search resultsets.

Just create a new plugin that has methods that are hooked to Multishop.

open pi1/classes/class.mslib_fe.php

There you can find:

PHP
if (is_array ($GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['ext/multishop/pi1/classes/class.mslib_fe.php']['getProductsPageSet']))
{
    $query_elements=array();
    $query_elements['filter']=&$filter;
    $query_elements['offset']=&$offset;
    $query_elements['limit']=&$limit;
    $query_elements['orderby']=&$orderby;
    $query_elements['having']=&$having;
    $query_elements['select']=&$select;
    $query_elements['select_total_count']=&$select_total_count;
    $query_elements['where']=&$where;
    $query_elements['groupby']=&$groupby;
    $query_elements['redirect_if_one_product']=&$redirect_if_one_product;
    $query_elements['extra_from']=&$extra_from;
    $query_elements['search_section']=&$search_section;
    $params = array (
            'query_elements' => &$query_elements
    );
    foreach ($GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['ext/multishop/pi1/classes/class.mslib_fe.php']['getProductsPageSet'] as $funcRef)
    {
            t3lib_div::callUserFunction($funcRef, $params, $this);
    }
}

This allows you to further manipulate the select, to include the fields you require in the products listing.

If this sounds too complex, you can always request a quote (sales@bvbmedia.nl) for letting us taking care of your custom development request.

Product relatives is possible straight out of the box. Make sure your products detail template contains the wrapper: ###PRODUCTS_RELATIVES### and that your product is related to other products.

You can see it live in action on the following web page:
