We are working on a major project that will make use of multishop as its base for the entire business.

As the business is international(EU/US) we are heavily reliant on VAT to handle the end price within each shipping destination.

The current road-map for 3.0 takes us a long way towards our needs for the taxation system.

First question: What is your ETA on the VAT part of 3.0 and would sponsorship shorten this ETA?

Second question: Would it be possible/feasible at all to have the VAT module handle multiple VAT per product?

For example:
A product contains food aswell as non-food which have seperate VAT rates in most (all?) countries

For Sweden Food 12% non-food 25%:
TOTAL: €200.00 (€100 per product)
VAT 12%: €12.00
VAT 25%: €25.00

Question one:
We tend to publish it to TER within 4 weeks. Could be earlier, but we take time to test it on our production servers first before we will publish it to TER.

Best way to go is to have contact. We prefer Skype for this. Our Skype account is typo3multishop. It's possible that we give priority support to your project and we maintain a pre V3 install, so you can implement earlier and are certain that we assist when there are issues.

Question two:
Yes, it will be possible to configure multiple VAT rates to 1 product. By using TAX groups you will be able to configure this. So instead of mapping the VAT rate to the products id we will map the VAT group to the products id.
